In an effort to promote transparency, the City Clerk Department handles all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in accordance with the State requirements to make public records available, upon request, for inspection and copying. The City has five business days to respond. For commercial requests, the City has 21 business days to respond.

FOIA Fees

Fees associated with Freedom of Information Act requests are as follows:

Fees for all Requests

Black & White Copies
- Less than 50 Pages (Double-Sided): No Charge
- Over 50 Pages (Double-Sided): $0.15 per Page
Color Copies
- Less than 50 Pages (Double-Sided): $0.15 per Page
- Over 50 Pages (Double-Sided): $0.35 per Page
Certification per Record: $1.00 per Certification
The following record fees are based on the Actual Cost of Reproduction:
- Flash Drives
- CDs
- Color Photographs
- Blueprints

Fees for Commercial Requests

PDF Records
- Up to 80 Megabytes: $20
- 80 Megabytes to 160 Megabytes: $40
- Over 160 Megabytes: $100
Non-PDF Records
- Up to 2 Megabytes: $20
- 2 Megabytes to 4 Megabytes: $40
- Over 4 Megabytes: $100
Search/Retrieval Time
- First 8 Hours: No Charge
- Over 8 Hours: $10 per Hour
